Best 2 Years of my Life

So today is our 2 year anniversary!


~ HAPPY ANNIVERSARY CHRISTOPHER!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!~


Here are a few things I love about him:


-he is so funny and can always make me laugh when I'm down
-he has turned me into a weirdo lol I'm more silly than I've ever been
-he works hard because he wants to totally spoil me some day
-he is always trying to figure out what luxury car he's going to buy me lol
-he has such high dreams that inspire me to dream big and be positive
-he tries to do little special things for me on a daily basis
-he loves a clean house just like me
-he knows when I just need to snuggle

-he likes sports, but doesn't have to ALWAYS be watching them
-he likes video games, but doesn't get obsessed (good at moderation in these things
-will take me to girlie movies and not complain (like twilight and HSM3)
-he makes me feel comfortable in my own skin... makes me feel beautiful and sexy
-he makes me feel like I'm the most important thing on this earth
-he's pretty much the best husband ever :)


I am so lucky to have found him. There is no other person I'd want to spend eternity with.

Animal Adventures

OK so it has been FOREVER since I've posted because that girl hasn't given my camera back yet.  (Annoying, I know!)  But I took some pictures with my camera phone and Alicia took some pictures for me and now I can finally post something!!
  SO this lady at work said she was giving away a bunny.  And since Chris said no to a baby or a puppy- I figured that a bunny would be ok!  AND it would fulfill my need to cuddle and take care of something small!  And for those of you who know bunnies...  they are NOT cuddly!  Yeah, we had to find THAT out the hard way.  So someone off craigslist picked her up last night lol  We had her for about a month.  She was cute but she ran away from us all the time like we were monsters and would scratch me when I tried to hold her.  She was a total snob.

     So then......

A week ago my sister called me and said- hey! I have your Christmas present!!  A kitten!-  I guess her neighbor found 3 kittens abandoned at the park (mean people!)  So I got all excited!!!!  Not as high maintenance as a baby or a puppy--- and will CUDDLE me!  So we got two of them and they are the CUTEST things that ever lived.  We both named one--  Dot and Wild Love Tigress (guess which one Chris named  lol)  They always potty in their litter box and don't hurt any furniture and are SO CUTE when they fall asleep on you.  They are excited to see us when we wake up and come home from work.. Pretty much perfect... right???

WRONG!  Chris is allergic   :(   We tried to have him take meds and clean the kitties and house often... but it's just too much to have the dander of two kitties in such a small space.  We both love them so much and are so sad to have to give them away... but I'd like my husband to feel comfortable in his own home.  Anyway, this lady e-mailed me and she wants to give them to a co-worker who is a kitty lover and has wanted a pet for a long time.  So hopefully he'll love them as much as we do.

A First!

So in the year and 10 months we've been married... this is the first time we've paid for our own internet and cable ALL BY OURSELVES!!  lol  We're growing up, aren't we??  We shared internet ONCE with someone in our building in Utah.  But that's it.  lol!! We usually just "borrow" unlocked internet and only watch movies!!!  Ghetto!! 

So the installation man comes today between 8 and 12.  I hate that... why can't they give you a real time?  Instead they just expect you to hang out for 4 hours...  

In other good news.. our apartment is pretty much complete!  My wonderful mother helped us with some very generous house warming gifts and I'm finished getting everything organized... the only things I still need are some finishing touch plants!  I need 2 medium to large sized ones for next to our TV and in our bedroom... and 2 small ones for the kitchen counter and the bathroom counter.  Then I'm done!  I LOVE our new place.  There is nothing like having pride in where you live.  I believe that you treat things much better if you have pride in them.  I really think that goes with anything.... from your husband, to your furniture, to your vehicle.    

Oh, and I AM planning to post pictures because I haven't in FOREVER but a friend of mine has my camera and hopefully I'll get it back soon!!!

Our new APT!!!

So we just moved out to Moreno Valley to a cute little apartment complex called Broadstone Overlook.  Now Chris is only 7 minutes away from work and we absolutely love it!!  And last night we built our own furniture with our bare hands!!  I feel so accomplished :)  My hands have never been so sore and inflamed as they are today  lol  Maybe I'll post some pictures  later.... Chris even mentioned posting pictures of the furniture we built  lol  he's so proud!!

4th of July ROCKS!!

Ok so I'm a little late with this one!! For the last 2 years we've gone to Chicago to visit Chris's familia for the 4th of July... and it is always the freakin time of our lives! They always have this rockin block party and do a hula show. It's so fun!
Mom, Dad, Jessie, Nick, Shelly, Chaney, and the cute kids Lehua and Kahili. I love them so much and am soooo lucky to have in-laws like them. Here are a few reasons why I love them so much:
-they are and have always been so loving and accepting
-they are SO much fun
-they are a really great help with the whole moral compass thing
-they have these awesome "family talks" where they talk about serious-type issues that really have made me think about my life and where it is leading
-the famous Bingo sesh is always the best
-they inspire me to TEACH the children I will have some day and to raise them with purpose
-they support our decisions and are always there whenever we need advice
-the girls have taught me my sweet hula dancing skills
-and a special THANK YOU to Mom and Dad for giving me the best thing in my life... their sweet son and the love of my life..... Chris
I could keep listing.... but I'll get to the pictures now :)





















We're always sad to go and hope we'll see them again soon :)



ps- and here's a snippet of what we do when we get bored in the middle of the night. Man, I LOVE my family!!! :)
